Our story
It all started with a Harry Potter party
Wand & Willow is the creative studio of Laura Linn, a former teacher who has spent her whole working life making learning and play magical for kids.
Chapter one
A teacher and a writer for kids
Laura was an elementary school teacher and an editor of Scholastic News Classroom Magazines. Teaching and writing for children has been her life's work, and it shows in every party plan and class project.
Chapter two
A lifelong Potter fan
Laura has been throwing Harry Potter parties since Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire came out in 2000. Teaching Harry Potter-themed Explorers classes gave her so many magical ideas that they grew into birthday parties and a week-long camp.
Chapter three
Enter the Swifties
Her daughter Ellie and Ellie's friends brought Laura into the world of Swifties. She knew a Blank Space needed filling, and the Tay-Tay birthday party was born.
Today
A studio for the whole community
Now there are 13 party themes, weekly classes, camps, a free Monday Craft Club for grown-ups, and a studio neighbors can rent for their own gatherings.
The studio
Come see where the magic happens
